With every magical operation you will have some type of recoil, and this recoil from the manifestation of the symbols manifesting the energy can be controlled by including those symbols which manifest into the gritty dark earth.
From the perspective of the Neophyte including those symbols which directly correspond to the symbols in 777 will assist later on, and with the higher Grades having a Pantacle that is manifesting from Princess scale rather than using direct rationalizations that give a symbolism that is out of touch with the reality of that aspirant's Grade. Again, if this point is not realized and acted upon, the recoil might very well hinder the progress of the manifestation of initiation or magical gesture later on.
Such recoil will be realized as mixing the planes or using the symbols of 777 where the assimilation of data in a paper will be out of touch with the reality of it acting upon phenomenal existence, or if it acts upon phenomenal existence does reach the plane of disks where your change is consistent with your volition with the particular operation you are attempting.
The magick you've attempted is otherwise successful; and yet it is absorbed on planes where it does not act on our reality; and then the recoil is like the wrath of the Gods where everything benefits or changes but what you meant to change. Moreover, you must realize that unless you are growing steadily magically, spiritually and with manifested Neshamah you are going not to achieve the Tiphareth of the Sepiroth of your Grade. I have rejected many a Pantacle from a would be Neophyte who would not change his or her Pantacle where he or she has a real base for manifestation. Ironically, the mere shifting of several symbols on the Pantacle oft times made it the type of pragmatic talisman that I finally approved to the relief of the Neophyte, now paranoid that his hours of effort were scorned by an evil, sadistic sorcerer of an overseer who cared nothing but his tending to every detail.Even further so, I insist that you observe the general rule to create every operation, and corresponding talisman where it actually manifests into this plane of reality. Anything short of this will, again, create a recoil from energy not being properly directed by the proper symbolism into the Plane of Disks reality.
Since writing the above I have given my students a Talisman which is an example of this stated manifestation into the Plane of Disks explaining in no uncertain words that I have an apparent obsessive insistence that talismans should have the symbols where manifestation will exist into the gritty Plane of Disks. Of course, the release to my students was an honest attempt to not only give them an example of how to stay in touch with reality, but to practice for the examination of the Grade of Neophyte.
