As a test to him tell him he has been secretly promoted to Supreme Hierophant of the Ancient Cult of Khem; or make up some glamorous title. The point of this test is to see whether his ego reacts to titles; what he does one way or another; and especially his test of secrecy and loyalty.

Since writing the above; and using this test for a number of years; sometimes with success; and sometimes with disaster I am releasing this letter which was the last and final time I attempted it. It's greatest downfall is the student goes away thinking he has been chosen by the Gods to create a new Magical Current; and goes off and creates still another fool occult organization. After three occult organizations starting in three different places in the world; I decided I'm fed up with this particular test; and have devised other ones that will be just as effective. As for my involvement in New Orleans; and the lectures, and teachings of the now deceased Oneida Toups who was a very important teacher in those days; I now appreciate her even more so many years later after looking at the notes she insisted I take. Of course, she was merely an Adept; and not of the system of Θελημα; and Marcelo Motta was a true Master who clarified items that were beyond her Initiations. This does not alter the fact that she appeared on my path at a moment where she was very useful as a teacher and a guide.
