The process of spiritual progress is the slow evolution of a normal consciousness into a magickal consciousness. This evolution cannot take place without the disciplined daily magickal practices which awaken and increase the energy of the aspirant thereby giving the greater chance for the initiation to accrue.

The daily magickal practices changes the aspirant's inner as well as outer world. Of course, all is ever as it was, but now the aspirant is able see his nature as if through a magnifying glass, he becomes more truthful to himself, more honest in his words and deeds as a consequence of understanding himself/herself better then he/she did before he/she started the daily magickal practices.

Your inner world is undergoing change, the feeling is of complete dominance and strength; your soul is on fire, your eyes sparkle, your head is up. Your outer world is undergoing change; you voice becomes commanding, your tone more defined, the pattern of your speech changes as you sing out with joy your Chapter, your facial expression shows grave dignity, your body language expresses unquestionable authority.

The more aspirant begins to understand himself better by the virtue of energy that has increased his clarity, the more he moves away from the world of common men. The energy that envelops the physical body of the aspirant is bewildering and shocking to all those who might chance to be around him/her. You begin to sense their vulnerability and defenselessness in front of you. They, unable to comprehend the change, begin to revere and fear you. If the described transformation has began to accrue in the soul of the aspirant it means that he/she has taken the first PRACTICAL step towards the initiation and the True Magickal Royalty, a virtue which the profane common monarchs are missing.

O my Brothers and Sisters, behold the soul inflaming, inspiring glory and pride of the very first step on the Path, indeed, there is no other wine like unto this wine!
